(Penne with diced chicken, peas, onions and mushrooms in a pink cream sauce)
Baby italian eggplant sauteed in a marinara sauce with diced fresh mozzarella on top
Thin pieces of veal in a light brown sauce with spinach and finished with prosciutto on top
Either veal or chicken breaded and baked with seasoned breadcrumbs. Chopped tomato, red onions and lettuce is dressed with our house vinaigrette and put on top

5.3 stars; I waited almost three weeks to get a reservation, and I must tell you it was so worth the wait. Michael, our waiter's recommendations for me were the bomb, as in on-point—clean, friendly, and beautiful atmosphere. Coming back again, and this is from a foodie.
Absolutely amazing meal. We went for a baby shower and food was delicious! We had eggplant Parmesan, fried calamari, antipasto platter, pizza bites and more. Our main course was absolutely delicious! I had the grilled branzini and it was cooked to perfection. The string beans were also so delicious we asked for more. The service was exceptional! You don’t really see that anymore! Make it a point to make a reservation!!
I love this place! I have had every life event at this restaurant so it was only right to have my bridal shower here! The food is always amazing with massive portions. The staff treats you like family. I can’t wait to go back. Xoxo
Our favorite Italian place in town! Always perfect and on point! My favorite is calamari with cherry peppers, best lichi martini and espresso martini! And the fresh pasta? To die for!
Just came from this place celebrating my birthday. We love Nick our server and Santos. Super nice. Food is lovely. Drinks is lovely. Thank you so much for welcoming us. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.
Do yourself a favor and order the pillowy gnocchi made by hand (on site), with the two meatballs and short rib! I don’t think I need to say more but I will….there are plenty of Italian restaurants on LI but none are as authentic as this one. We’ve been going to Filomena’s for years and it’s just always on point. The staff is so friendly and attentive….the space is beautiful and has a great vibe…. The food is the star….and they are so accommodating with changes and requests, and allergies, too. I’ve tried so many of their dishes—you just can’t go wrong. They always have great specials to try for people like me who like to order different things. And it’s also a great place for a large family dinner as they have a beautiful private room that hosts larger parties (as those spaces are hard to find!) and it keeps my Italian in-laws happy when we all go together. Can’t say enough good things…oh and the owner is also fantastic—he’s so personable and always makes sure everyone is very well taken care of.
We hosted my sister’s bridal shower here and it was beyond wonderful. The food was delicious, the service, namely Dylan and Joshua, were so friendly and efficient, and Filomena, who works in the front, was truly a joy to work with. The venue was perfect and all of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was. I’d absolutely host another event here—they make everything so easy and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Came here for a birthday celebration with the family. We got seated in the back because we had a big group and it was crowded. I have to say , you won't be disappointed. The service was excellent. Very attentive and accommodating. We'll be returning and adding this place on our list of our favorite restaurants to go. The food was really good. However the baked clams weren't that great but ill give it the benefit of the doubt . Everything else was really good so Ill give it 5 stars. My girlfriends sicilian father is very very particular about his food since he was born in Sicily. We've gone to every italian restaurant in New York. And surprisingly, he liked the food. The only place he likes is lennys in Howard Beach. But this place is right up there with it. So Bravo filomenas!
This restaurant never disappoints. Mike was our waiter and made us feel at home,, I even ordered the dish named after him pork chop Mike and was absolutely amazing. From appetizers to dessert couldn't have asked for more ,,his service couldnt have been any better. We drove one hour to get there so we dont get to dine there that often, but Mike even remembered what I drank. Probably haven't been there in six months. That shows he cares about his customers amd attention to detail. Seen the other waiter nick,, he remembered us as well and is also a great waiter. Not often you come across a establishment with food and a staff thats top notch.
